Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Lead Designer – Digital UI/UX (Subscription) in the United States. As the Lead Designer, you will own the end-to-end user experience for subscription-based digital products, shaping how users engage, convert, and retain across the full customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and define a user-centered design vision for subscription-based SaaS products and content-driven experiences.
  • Design onboarding funnels, activation flows, dashboards, and in-app moments that drive conversions, retention, and recurring engagement.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and interaction models that communicate complex ideas simply.
  • Iterate rapidly based on qualitative insights, quantitative data, A/B testing, and user research.
  • Partner with product managers to translate user problems into actionable design solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility, accessibility, and high-quality implementation.
  • Work with analytics and growth teams to measure funnel performance, identify friction points, and optimize user experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product/UI/UX design, with proven expertise in subscription-based SaaS or content-centric applications.
  • Strong track record designing intuitive interfaces and optimizing onboarding, trial, and subscription flows.
  • Deep understanding of growth loops, activation metrics, and user engagement KPIs.
  • Experience with analytics platforms (GA, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap) and A/B testing to drive measurable UX improvements.
  • Mastery of visual design principles and tools, particularly Figma.
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in service design, customer journey mapping, or lifecycle-focused UX.
  • Basic proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
  • Familiarity with content-driven product design and its impact on user comprehension and engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $130,000 – $150,000, depending on experience.
