Job Summary

Manulife Risk Management Team is looking for a self-motivated Operational Risk Management professional, who is obsessed with delivering value, is forward-thinking, and excited to provide hands-on development of risk models involving market, operational risk, assure controls are operating effectively, and provide research and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Risk Officer in the maintenance and update of risk management policies, processes and systems.
• Support AVP, Operational Risk Management to ensure compliance with our policy and standards.
• Provide local support for the Singapore risk committees.
• Collaborate with business units to identify, measure and report on operational risk exposures.
• Manage IT Security and Cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) by coordinating resilience planning.
• Administer communication and education initiatives to foster a risk-aware culture.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years in compliance/operations role in an insurance company.
• Well-developed financial acumen and business orientation.
• Understanding of products developed and marketed in Singapore.
• Familiarity with IT Security frameworks and Cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Creative problem solving and the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
