Job Summary
Manage and administer human resources programs for Texas A&M AgriLife On-campus units, to include recruitment, employment, compensation, classification, employee relations, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Workday HR Partner Security Role for this customer group.
- Supervise HR Specialist II who serves as HR unit contact for Administrative Services and Dean’s Office Staff customer group.
- Prepare and complete internal and external salary surveys/studies.
- Ensure compliance and provide guidance, interpretation and consultation to department heads, employees and managers on HR activities.
- Resolve and troubleshoot complex HR issues including employee relations situations and Workday System issues.
- Review organizational methods and effectiveness of program activities.
- Develop and provide training as needed to employees, managers or other HR staff.
- Maintain human resources automated systems including Workday and Laserfiche personnel/payroll and recruiting files.
- Conduct audits of human resources activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
