Job Summary
In this role, you will lead a frontend engineering team responsible for building intuitive, high-impact web applications used to configure and monitor advanced, AI-driven systems. You will combine people leadership with hands-on technical contribution, setting high standards for user experience, code quality, and delivery. Working in a fully remote, globally distributed environment, you will collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and infrastructure teams. Your work will directly shape customer-facing experiences and influence product direction. This role offers strong ownership, visibility, and long-term growth potential. It is ideal for a frontend leader passionate about modern web technologies and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of frontend engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, and support
- Drive the design and implementation of scalable, high-quality frontend applications
- Establish and enforce frontend best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Solution Architects to translate user needs into robust solutions
- Partner with Backend and Infrastructure teams to integrate APIs and define optimal frontend infrastructure
- Convert designs and wireframes into pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant user interfaces
- Participate actively in code reviews and foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality and ownership
- Maintain clear documentation for frontend architecture, components, and development processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend development
- Proven experience leading frontend teams and driving delivery through mentorship and collaboration
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, including modern ECMAScript features
- Advanced experience with React, TypeScript, and modern single-page application frameworks
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and styling frameworks such as SASS
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with modern frontend build tools and pipelines
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns, performance optimization, and best practices
- Knowledge of user experience principles, visual design concepts, and web accessibility standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to continuously upskill and collaborate across frontend and backend domains
