Key Responsibilities

• Leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to process and resolve mechanical problems.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes.
• Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
• Oversee manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.
• Identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Dynamic technical leader with 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for system tool packaging, cable management, platform enclosures.
• Proven ability to drive complex programs, mentor teams, and deliver cost-effective, serviceable designs integrating mechanical, thermal, and electrical requirements.
• Adept at collaborating across functions to ensure manufacturability and supply chain efficiency.
• Ensures designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS).
• Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand subsystem requirements.
• Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches.
• Evaluate architectures to provide recommendations for best system solution approach.
• Build and qualify prototypes of new designs or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications.
