Job Summary
Excellent Opportunity for someone with both Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist experience! Position will perform MA duties 90% of the time, and Phlebotomist duties 10% of the time. Ability to float to a different clinic within Kansas City when there is need. Must be willing to work 12 hour-shifts during the week and 9 hours on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting providers and the nursing team in the delivery of professional medical care.
- Pre-visit planning and rooming patients.
- Obtaining vitals and utilizing the EMR system.
- Scanning and downloading of documents.
- Administering injections and vaccine coordination.
- Telephone screening (with protocols) and phlebotomy.
- Assisting with procedures as needed.
- Covering front office job duties as needed.
Requirements
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year.
- Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Medical Assistant (Certified) – Various.
