Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Network Engineer II in California (USA). This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across 20+ locations.
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and high availability.
- Manage and support network devices, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
- Administer and troubleshoot VoIP systems, with Microsoft Teams Voice experience preferred.
- Conduct regular network security assessments and apply best practices to safeguard data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Provide backup support for help desk functions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
Requirements
- 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in network engineering.
- Demonstrated experience leading network-related projects and supporting multi-location environments.
- Proficiency with Meraki/Cisco devices; CCNA certification preferred.
- Experience with Azure Firewalls and Microsoft domain environments.
- Demonstrated competency with Python, PowerShell, and AI applications in networking.
- Strong cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in HIPAA-regulated environments is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel locally within Southern California and occasionally to other locations.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
