Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Payment Corrections Coordinator in the United States. This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy and compliance of financial operations within the Revenue Cycle Management function.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and process payment corrections such as reversals, voids, and deleted charges.
- Manage corrected claims requiring updates to CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, DOS, or billing providers.
- Coordinate and resolve OSA corrections and misbilled charges.
- Collaborate with AR teams to rebill settlement agreements accurately.
- Update and maintain tracking systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Perform trend analysis to identify process improvements and reduce rework.
- Support department initiatives and complete quarterly compliance audits as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in patient or payor accounts receivable within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of Commercial, PPO, and HMO billing guidelines and regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
- Hands-on experience with electronic claims and payment submissions.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications or training a plus.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
