Job Summary

Are you a person who enjoys making positive, tangible changes that improve the overall quality of a product or process? Do you have a passion for interfacing with internal and external customers? Are you a data-driven individual? If so, then maybe you would be a great fit for our Quality Engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive internal PPM improvements using iDT&R (Internal Defect Tracking & Resolution)
• Drive external PPM improvements using CDT&R (Customer Defect Tracking & Resolution)
• Maintain and update value stream quality systems using standard APQP tools.
• Lead Quality related Kaizen events for your respective value stream.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to reduce scrap for your respective value stream.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) or recognized Engineering apprenticeship program.
• A proven background in quality engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment. (i.e. Aerospace, Automotive or Manufacturing)
• Experience with APQP core tools. (Experience in both development and maintenance)
• Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DoE (Design of Experiments)
• Experienced in Root Cause/Corrective action process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Six Sigma tools.
• ASQ or Six Sigma certifications.
