Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Product Owner, IT P&C Insurance (Remote) in the United States. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between business and technology teams, driving the delivery of IT solutions that optimize insurance operations and support key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the product backlog, author clear user stories, and lead Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure solutions meet quality standards through rigorous user acceptance testing.
- Execute change management plans, deliver stakeholder training, and track user adoption metrics.
- Facilitate continuous improvement by gathering feedback and identifying optimization opportunities across platforms.
- Monitor KPIs for product performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with insurance regulations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting, or product management.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Scrum environments.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with policy administration systems (e.g., Duck Creek) is preferred.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other product management platforms.
- Understanding of insurance regulatory requirements and operational workflows.
