Exciting Opportunity Awaits! Are you ready to make a true impact on the community? The City of Fort Worth is hiring a Professional Engineer – Stormwater to be part of our amazing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform project management duties and professional civil engineering work for capital infrastructure projects primarily related to Stormwater.
  • Evaluate Stormwater-related issues and develop the scope, schedule, and budget for infrastructure capital improvement projects.
  • Manage consultants, review plans and specifications, conduct public meetings, and review contracts and invoices.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Four years of professional civil engineering experience, with two years related to stormwater management.
  • Possession of registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling principles.
  • Experience with FEMA regulations and permitting.
