Job Summary
The Program Coordinator I is responsible for field supervision of the training staff and for onboarding new hires. Onboarding duties include, but are not limited to, interviewing, commercial learners permitting, Entry Level Driver’s Training (ELDT), and Training scheduling.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of teaching/training experience or office administration experience
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle busy phone, 2-way radio, and office traffic
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid State of Texas class “B” vehicle driver license (Commercial Driver License) with passenger endorsement and air brakes endorsement
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move medium-weight objects
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
Other Requirements and Factors
- Persons in this position are considered essential during university emergencies
- Must be able to work rotating job duties within a set schedule
- May be required to work non-traditional hours
