Job Summary

This role will establish and lead a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO) within a fast-growing organization. You will be responsible for building governance frameworks, implementing scalable project and change management practices, and ensuring successful execution of initiatives that span workforce, technology, and client implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the PMO from the ground up, including governance, standards, and methodologies aligned to growth strategies.
  • Define and enforce project and portfolio governance processes, including intake, prioritization, approvals, and change control.
  • Integrate structured change management into project initiatives, covering impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
  • Build scalable PMO processes, templates, and playbooks for projects involving new client launches, workforce deployments, and technology implementations.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of project managers and coordinators.
  • Provide training to business leaders and subject matter experts on project and change management best practices.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards to track project status, benefits, risks, resource utilization, and adoption metrics.
  • Use project and change data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities that support organizational growth and revenue objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7–10+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or EHR/PM system implementation.
  • PMP, Lead Six Sigma, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish PMO structures and drive adoption of governance frameworks.
  • Strong skills in change management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing project teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work fully remote while traveling as required for in-person meetings.
