Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design and planning efforts for building projects focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather design requirements by engaging with clients to identify project specifications, budgets, and objectives.
  • Develop conceptual floor plans, elevation drawings, and preliminary cost estimates for building improvement projects.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work, specifications, and preliminary implementation schedules for construction projects.
  • Facilitate subcontractor pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs with internal teams.
  • Support project managers during construction and assist in finalizing project estimates and proposals.
  • Communicate regularly with all team members regarding project development progress, open and closed tasks, and issues.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and project documentation to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 5+ years of relevant experience in project development, construction, or engineering.
  • Knowledge of building construction, electrical systems, and applicable codes.
  • Strong skills in project planning, cost estimating, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, and professional documents.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
