Job Summary

A Public Events Attendant position is available with The City of Fort Worth, Public Events Department / Fort Worth Convention Center and Will Rogers Memorial Center. This position plays a very important role in making sure our venues are clean, and all events are set up correctly and run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting and removal of tables and chairs and other equipment required for contracted events.
  • Cleaning of offices, restrooms, event spaces and other assigned buildings and facilities.
  • Tasks will vary by event and is not limited to what is listed.

Requirements

  • Possession of or ability to obtain a high school diploma/GED within one year of employment and no required experience.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license.
  • Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six (6) months of custodial (Janitorial) or manual labor work experience.
  • At least 6 months of heavy public contact experience (working large crowds).
  • At least 6 months of forklift experience preferred.
