Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Software Engineer to join our distributed agile team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our HRIS product suite. In this role, you will be directly responsible for developing innovative new features and modernizing existing functionality within our multi-tenant, cloud-based SaaS platform that serves the Human Resources sector, including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and CoreHR modules. You will leverage your deep Oracle expertise to build robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality PL/SQL code for new features and enhancements within our HRIS product lines.
- Analyze, refactor, and modernize existing PL/SQL codebase to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Adopt a proactive “shift-left” development mindset, taking full ownership of unit testing, integration testing, and verifying the functional correctness of your solutions.
- Collaborate within a distributed agile team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Proactively identify and implement performance optimization strategies for complex SQL queries and database processes.
