Job Summary
The Senior Java Developer will join a team working on the maintenance and enhancement of an existing internal application for one of the major technology clients.
This is a hands-on backend development role focused on implementing new features, fixing bugs, and ensuring ongoing stability of the system. The application is well-established and is not high-scale or performance-critical. You’ll collaborate with a Tech Lead, Front-End Developers, and other team members in a structured, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Java-based backend features for an internal tool
- Collaborate with other developers, Tech Leads, and stakeholders to define technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements in code quality
- Perform bug fixes and small enhancements within an existing codebase
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and database interactions
- Contribute to a well-tested, clean, and maintainable codebase
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- 5+ years of recent, professional experience with Java (Java 8 or newer)
- Experience with SQL databases
