Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist in United States. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Compliance Specialist to ensure the organization maintains a robust compliance program. This role involves working closely with regulatory agencies, developing and implementing policies and processes, and mitigating compliance risks across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process state-mandated regulatory filings, including forms, fees, and supporting documentation.
  • Research and compile data for exams, audits, investigations, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Design and maintain tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to monitor compliance.
  • Monitor and audit business activities, documents, and processes to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Mentor and support other compliance staff, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or government roles.
  • Prior experience with insurance operations, preferably property & casualty insurance.
  • Professional compliance certifications (e.g., CRCM, CCEP) are desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex regulations clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Skilled researcher with familiarity in reviewing insurance regulations and assessing compliance risks.
  • Growth mindset, proactive approach, and willingness to challenge existing practices constructively.
