Job Summary
As a Senior Database Engineer on the DeFi Yield Gen Platform team, you’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a fun and dynamic environment. You will work closely with technical leaders and Architects to build a secure crypto yield generation platform utilizing modern software development practices. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor engineers on the best practices for Software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a secure crypto yield generation platform.
- Mentor engineers on best practices for software development.
- Manage query execution plans and tune Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Integrate Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL with other AWS services.
- Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
- 5+ years’ experience in software engineering.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience in data analysis and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Blockchains such as Ethereum is a plus.
