Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer 3 will lead projects as a project manager or the lead engineer for the delivery of large and highly complex projects. They will work closely with a team of engineers and consultants to provide project direction, engineering solutions, and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts for the analysis of electrical systems; Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards
  • Perform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reports
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively. Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
  • Provide in-process design reviews of electrical system design, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence. Implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff
  • Provide technical assistance in resolution of field issues with minimal support from senior staff
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering; Lead research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
