This role provides a unique opportunity to apply advanced engineering expertise in dynamic, hands-on field environments across a variety of industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site engineering solutions, including assessments, installations, troubleshooting, and training for advanced hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with project management, sales, and product teams to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and validation efforts, documenting results and providing actionable insights.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians to develop technical skills and knowledge.
- Conduct field experiments, data collection, and trials to support product validation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, field service processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Support product rollouts and operational optimization initiatives, including international travel as needed.
Requirements
- GED required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering, trades program, or equivalent experience (e.g., vibration analysis, millwright, electrician, PLC/control systems, military technical training).
- 5+ years of relevant field engineering experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 90% domestic, 20% international) and operate in challenging industrial environments.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead junior staff while maintaining a collaborative team environment.
- Physical ability to meet field demands, including climbing, lifting up to 20 lbs, and exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
