Job Summary

The Senior IT Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT programs within Antech Diagnostics, part of the Mars Petcare Science and Diagnostics (SDx) division. They will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget while meeting the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops a comprehensive program plan, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements based on the needs of our Global Reference Lab line of business.
  • Identifies and engages key stakeholders, such as project sponsors, business owners, cross-functional teams, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and support for the program.
  • Defines and manages the program budget, including tracking and reporting on expenditures.
  • Allocate and optimize resources to achieve program goals.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that may impact the program’s success.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Establish a governance structure to facilitate decision-making, issue escalation, and communication across program stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of product owners, technical specialists, and other resources.
  • Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Monitors and tracks program progress, ensuring that projects are executed according to plan.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, dependencies, and bottlenecks that may impede progress.
  • Regularly communicates program status, updates, and risks to senior management, stakeholders, and project teams.
