Job Summary

As a Senior Platform Engineer within this newly created team you’ll be able to take ownership of key platform areas, shaping how we build and operate infrastructure across the Octopus Energy Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver platform services and improvements through the whole software delivery lifecycle, including coding, peer reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Take ownership of key technical areas, influencing design and implementation for platform services used across the group.
• Contribute to technical decisions that affect multiple teams, balancing long-term vision with pragmatic delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, communicating technical concepts clearly.

• Deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure best practices.
