Zillow Group is a fast-paced tech and media company with a team of skilled accounting professionals within the Controllership organization. We own revenue accounting for certain business lines and support the implementation of financial and billing processes related to new products and revenue streams.

Job Summary

Zillow Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Revenue Accounting team. This position is responsible for supporting various revenue products in our Rentals, New Construction, and Media business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process
• Provide relevant insight into financial results for accounting leadership and business partners
• Continuously pursue optimization and automation of existing processes
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships among Finance and business stakeholders
• Perform activities and maintain documentation in compliance with financial reporting requirements and SOX controls
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Provide coaching to and review deliverables prepared by junior team members
• Support ad-hoc/special projects and analysis, as necessary

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
