Job Summary

This critical role in the tax research team focuses on human-in-the-loop processes for AI-driven products. You will contribute to analyzing and developing tax product content, ensuring accurate classifications, conducting audits, and collaborating across departments. Your expertise will directly impact the quality and compliance of our products while utilizing emerging technologies to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess tax law impact on products and manage content updates using proprietary technology.
• Analyze legislative and regulatory changes to ensure product content compliance.
• Perform quality assurance testing on product content and categorizations.
• Gather and prioritize requests for application enhancements or defect resolution.
• Communicate assigned activities status to stakeholders and management.
• Identify and implement new content standards and procedures.
• Participate as a subject matter expert in product planning and discussions.
• Support dynamic operational and strategic projects.
• Foster collaboration across departments to enhance job knowledge.
• Utilize emerging technologies to identify process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Ability to interpret and apply tax laws to products.
• Expertise in multiple tax fields/industries.
• Experience in Indirect Tax functional areas (e.g., Compliance, Research).
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, preferred.
• Results-oriented and able to manage multiple high-impact projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with data tools like Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
