Job Summary
The Senior TechOps Engineer will be involved in the packaging of release components and preparing them for deployment into defined environments. This role requires collaboration with development leads to collect needed artifacts and an understanding of Premier’s products and how each system relates to other systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, integration, setup, administration, maintenance, and enhancement of new and existing applications and infrastructure.
- Assist the architecture team in design and implementation of new systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to educate the organization on product capabilities and best practices.
- Assist in production monitoring and support, managing different environments (QA, Production, UAT, and Training).
- Ensure applications are running efficiently in all environments (patching, vulnerability monitoring, etc.).
- Mentor and delegate tasks to other team members.
Requirements
- Experience with infrastructure design and server maintenance tasks.
- Hands-on experience navigating UNIX/LINUX systems and shell scripting.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and document resolutions.
- Experience working with agile development teams and bug tracking tools.
