Job Summary

The Senior HR Training Specialist provides advanced support in areas of Human Resources Training and Organizational Development (OD). This role is instrumental in identifying training needs and developing, designing, coordinating, facilitating, and monitoring a wide range of training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, coordinates, facilitates, and monitors all training activities for the HR Training Academy Supervisory Training Series.
  • Establishes and publishes training schedules and calendars.
  • Promotes training sessions to increase program attendance and engagement.
  • Maintains training records and attendance for supervisors.
  • Generates reports and statistics on HR Training Academy initiatives.
  • Provides ongoing assessment of training needs and develops appropriate training plans.
  • Assists in planning and identifying programs for future Training and OD initiatives.
  • Uses measurement and feedback tools to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Assists with Performance Evaluations and related reports.
  • Cultivates relationships with outside vendors for customized training experiences.
  • Remains current on Training and Development trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four years of related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of creating training using the ADDIE Model.
  • Basic knowledge of Organizational Development principles.
  • General knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent Presentation Skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and objectives.
