Job Summary
As a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner with OMES you will enjoy: Generous leave including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave and 11 paid holidays annually. Key Responsibilities
- Developing strategic business partner relationships by working with agency leadership in understanding and supporting their organizational needs.
- Partner with leadership to build an employee engagement strategy that strengthens agency culture and employee experience.
- Provides consultation and guidance regarding human resources transactions, policies, procedures, administrative rules, State and Federal laws, and Human Resources best practices.
- Serves as the designated HR liaison for assigned divisions, supporting all HR functions including workforce planning, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
- Oversees full-cycle recruitment efforts including job posting, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding activities.
- Maintains HR data systems, reports, and spreadsheets to inform agency-wide and division-specific decisions.
- Advise leaders on compensation decisions and talent management to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Partner with benefits teams to address employee questions and promote understanding of available resources.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Mentor and coach Level I and II HRBPs, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer across the HR team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field and 6+ years of professional HR experience.

- Salary up to $94,000.00
