Job Summary
This position provides a unique opportunity to leverage both technical expertise and healthcare business knowledge to support Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in the Medicare Value-Based Care programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Value-Based Care (VBC) analytics, focusing on ACO performance within the MSSP program.
- Develop, enhance, and implement analytics solutions to guide ACO leadership and operations teams.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses, modeling, and reporting to answer complex business questions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMS guidelines, ACO performance indicators, and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, efficient analytics processes.
- Engage stakeholders to understand their needs and support data-driven business decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Value-Based Care (VBC) and ACO operations.
- Expertise in healthcare analytics, including financial and clinical metrics such as PMPM, total cost of care, and admits per thousand.
- Experience with healthcare data, claims, EMR systems, CPT/HCPCS codes, POS, and diagnosis coding.
- Proficiency in SAS EG, Visual Analytics, SQL (Snowflake), and Excel.
- Knowledge of risk adjustment, HCC, and demographic scoring data.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to translate analytical findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing changing priorities and complex problems.
- Strong critical thinking, self-motivation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
