Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Staff Product Designer, Visual & Motion in the United States. As a Staff Product Designer specializing in visual and motion design, you will lead the creation and implementation of design systems that define the look, feel, and interactive behaviors of complex software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the visual specifications of the design system, including typography, color, grids, spacing, iconography, and data visualization standards.
  • Establish motion and interaction frameworks, including timing, easing, transitions, and animation behaviors, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces.
  • Translate brand direction into component-ready specifications with clear rationale and measurable quality criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical feasibility, performance, and fidelity of visual and motion implementations.
  • Set quality benchmarks, conduct polish reviews, and enforce guardrails for visual and motion consistency.
  • Mentor and guide design teams on visual rigor, motion fundamentals, and system thinking.
  • Create patterns for dynamic, AI-aware product behaviors, ensuring visual and motion clarity in adaptive workflows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product design with deep expertise in visual systems, motion design, and UI craft for complex software.
  • Proven ability to define design standards that are technically detailed, implementation-ready, and scalable across large product ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Figma (tokens, component architecture, variables) and advanced prototyping tools (After Effects, Principle, Framer, Lottie).
  • Strong understanding of dynamic, automated, or AI-driven product behaviors and how visual/motion cues communicate system state.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, visual precision, and motion clarity, demonstrated through a portfolio focused on product interfaces.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills.
  • Bonus: Experience with enterprise, cybersecurity, DevOps, or data platforms; familiarity with code-based motion frameworks; understanding of accessibility and performance considerations.
