Job Summary

This is a Workstudy position for students attending UT Austin. A workstudy Spring 2026 award letter must be attached along with other required materials to be considered. This position is in-person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process instructional material orders via purchase orders, online tx-shop credit card system, and internal Smartsheet request.
  • Prepare interdepartmental orders for off-site contracted services and professional development training sessions.
  • Print the instructional materials using a fiery software system on a large production printer.
  • Bind the instructional materials using a coil machine, laminate or shrink wrap the materials.
  • Prepare binders with the printed material.
  • Monitor office supplies inventory management; communicate with supervisor when supplies need to be re-ordered.
  • Organize and maintain customer orders filing system.
  • Prepare instructional materials for professional development sessions.
  • Scan various office documents and check for accuracy.
  • Assist in activities, events, special projects at the Dana Center.
  • Participate in processes and activities designed to establish an organizational culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Be awarded Federal Work-Study on the Work-Study Verification (WSV).
  • Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy standards as set by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
  • Must be enrolled in appropriate credit hours as required by the student’s academic or non-academic title.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of administrative experience.

Salary

$20 an hour

Working Conditions

May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Use of manual dexterity.
