Job Summary
Welocalize is offering a unique opportunity for those who enjoy a combination of linguistic and technical work. We are seeking a Traditional Chinese (from Hong Kong) Lead Tester / Proofreader for a project in Austin, TX. We need your native level fluency skills combined with strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Linguistic tasks
- Coordination of the linguistic team, like for example:
- Reviews copy and gives feedback to testers; communicates feedback received from the client
- Supports testers in understanding corrections resulting from the arbitration process
- Acts as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features & questions
- Supports the onboarding of new testers
- Identifies linguistic-specific training needs for the language; creates, maintains, and delivers the linguistic training program
- Quality management planning and execution
- Client engagement
- Linguistic assets management
Requirements
- On-Site in Austin, TX
- W-2 (eligible for benefits based on hours worked)
- Monday-Friday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm -> with one hour of lunch in between -> 35 hours per week)
- You must have a valid visa to work in the USA
