Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Workday Implementation Project Manager in the United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the successful deployment of Workday HCM solutions across a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary project manager for the Workday HCM implementation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Establish and enforce project governance and change management processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating decision-making and resolving risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables, oversee testing, training, and deployment activities, and provide executive-level status updates.
  • Manage project budget, monitor resource utilization, and ensure knowledge transfer for post-go-live support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct Workday HCM experience, including at least one full implementation cycle.
  • 3+ years of project management experience with enterprise software implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and systems.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to executive leadership.
  • Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred certifications: Workday Pro or Workday Certified Consultant, PMP, or Change Management credentials.
  • Experience with multiple Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent) and enterprise system integrations is a plus.
